About us; The company was formed in 1989 by Robert Barlow of Denby Village, Derbyshire with the idea to manufacture wooden gates to an affordable budget with the best materials available. Over the years we have grown and developed our abilities, skills and client base through good and bad economic climates to stand the test of time and still deliver what the customer wants with the watchful eye of nearly twenty-seven years’ experience.
Our premises are based near the famous Denby Pottery, just outside Derby. A converted farm building that houses state of art woodworking machinery. Even more importantly we have eleven joiners who share the same passion for wood. It’s a small run company that pays attention to the detail.
Mitech has the flexibility to design and manufacture what you want without being dictated by mass produced boundaries. We take the best ideas, proven methods and amalgamate them into your hand-built product. We cover every aspect of your gate requirements from initial research into what’s needed, a full design and CAD process still done by Robert. Then purpose manufactured using hand built traditional skills and a workshop spray finishing using the latest air assisted airless spray guns. As we say, “Made traditionally today for the future”.
